Bismillah,
1. It really feels like the clock is ticking faster than it should be.
2. As I am now already in my late 20's . soon enough, number 3 will knock
the door. everything will happen in just a blink of an eye. Provided
that I will live long enough to watch it happen. who knows if tonight
will be my last day?
3. As we get older and hopefully......wiser,
there will be a moment in your life where you look back your past and
might have regret over options and decisions you have taken before. Some say it is not a good thing to regret over your past and vise versa.
4. But as for me not everything's perfect, especially in the beginning
when you were lack of experience ,immature and emotionally driven.
Always tell to ourselves it is all right to have a little bit of regret
every once in a while. It's when you feel it all the time and can't do
anything about it... that's when you get into trouble. From the good
perspective, it will make you to be more careful with every decision we
take in life. Regret is also a part of repent.
5. As mention by Steve Maraboli in his book,Unapologetically You: Reflections on Life and the Human Experience, "We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our
past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you
are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future.”
6. Take your regret in the past as our good teacher , as the old Malay
proverb " pengalaman adalah sebaik-baik guru" which mean experience is
the best teacher we could have. Correct me if the proverb mention above
is not a Malay proverb.
7. Well, it's true that I have been hurt in
my life. Quite a bit actually. But it's also true that I have loved, and
been loved. and that carries a weight of its own. A greater weight, in
my opinion. It's like that pie chart in . in the end, I'll look back on
my life and see that the greatest piece of it was love. The problems,
the unrequited love, the sadness... those will be there too, but just
smaller slivers, tiny pieces.
8. Have to motivate myself to keep
moving on. keep getting on after each fall. One good lesson I learned
from my previous trip to mountain hiking, yes indeed I did take a longer
time to hike compare to my other buddy, but finally after all the
struggle I still can enjoy the same majestic view from the top of the
mountain with the. If you can reach your goal faster, than it is a bonus
but the real thing are how determine and steadfast are you to achieve
it?
9. Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence, and face your future without fear.-unknown-
10. “At the beginning of time the clock struck one
Then dropped the dew and the clock struck two
From the dew grew a tree and the clock struck three
The tree made a door and the clock struck four
Man came alive and the clock struck five
Count not, waste not the years on the clock
Behold I stand at the door and knock.” Eric Lomax, from "The railway man"
<p/s: It is a good movie , do watch it >
11. another day to live or another day to die? my time is running out, yet there are still so many thing I want to do
and so many bad things I wish I could stop and fix it. Will I have
sufficient time for all of that?
12. By the time.Verily! Man is in
loss,Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and
advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.-Surat al
Asr. short surah but has a very deep meaning.
Wallahuallam.
